Standard, medium, miniature, and petite. Height is measured at the wither, the ridge between the shoulder blades. Adult size is an estimate based on the parents, never a promise.
Under 14 in 25 lbs or less
The smallest we raise. Apartment and small-yard friendly, easy to travel with, and still every bit a doodle.
14–17 in (35–42 cm) 26–35 lbs
Our most-asked-about size. Sturdy enough for kids, small enough to pick up, fits in any vehicle.
17–21 in (43–52 cm) 36–50 lbs
A real dog without being a large dog. Great for active families and anyone who wants a hiking partner.
Over 21 in (53–63 cm) 51 lbs or more
The full-size version. Calm and steady once through the puppy stage. Best with room to move.

Heading out of town? Your dog can stay with us. Texas Doodles offers home-style dog boarding at our place in Kountze, minutes from Lumberton, Silsbee, and Sour Lake, for families who would rather not leave their dog in a row of kennels overnight.
Your dog is not just checked on twice a day. Someone is here on the property, day and night.
We live where we board. Your dog is never shut in a building alone overnight.
Outdoor time, play, and real rest in a home setting instead of a concrete run.
Send their food and any medications. We follow the schedule they already know.
Photos and check-ins so you can actually enjoy the trip.

We board dogs for local families. Boarding is a separate service from our puppy program, and you do not need to have a Texas Doodles dog to book. Request your dates on the dog boarding page or call 409-284-1997.

Coats vary from dog to dog. Goldendoodles are often low-shedding and may be a good fit for some families with mild allergies, but no coat can be guaranteed allergy-friendly.
Yes. Puppy selection may happen at the Texas Doodles home in Kountze or over FaceTime.
No. Texas Doodles puppies are placed as pets, without breeding rights.
